The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at USC is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), 3030 Potomac Ave., Suite 100, Alexandria, Virginia 22305-3085; telephone: 703-706-3245; email: accreditation@apta.org; website: http://www.capteonline.org. The physical therapy program has been continuously accredited since 1946. The program’s accreditation was most recently re-affirmed in 2018. The program is scheduled to be re-evaluated in 2028.

The Division of Biokinesiology & Physical Therapy’s PhD and MS programs, as well as its residency programs, are not accredited by CAPTE.

For the Class of 2022 and Class of 2023, 100% of graduates who sought employment have been employed as physical therapists within one year of graduation, as determined by a survey sent to all graduates.
