Dr. Landel is a professor of clinical physical therapy in the Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, where he is the director of the entry level Doctor of Physical Therapy program and director of the Residency Programs. He additionally maintains a private practice in the Division, USC Physical Therapy Associates, and primarily treats patients with orthopaedic, balance and vestibular disorders. Dr. Landel has held leadership positions in the physical therapy field, including chair of the Orthopaedic Specialty Council and chair of the Clinical Residency and Fellowship Credentialing Committee of the APTA. For his accomplishments and research publication, he was awarded the Rose Excellence in Orthopaedic Research Award and the Gould Excellence in Teaching Award from the Orthopaedic Section of the APTA.
