Clinical Associate Professor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Hershberg earned a BS in Biology and Gerontology from Mount St. Mary’s College, followed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Slippery Rock University. She earned a Graduate Certificate of Neurologic Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. Dr. Hershberg is further certified as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and a Certified Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. 

In addition to her academic work, Dr. Hershberg founded [re+active], a private outpatient and home-based neurologic physical therapy and wellness practice; she and her team specialize in treating individuals with neurologic disorders, such as Parkinson’s disease and dystonia. Dr. Hershberg’s professional and research interests include movement disorders, motor learning, decision making and differential diagnosis.
