Dr. Cozby earned a Bachelor of Science in Gerontology with a specialization in Health Sciences from the University of Southern California (USC) at Los Angeles. He earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the USC Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy as well as a Graduate Certificate in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Currently Dr. Cozby serves as a professor at USC, owns the Pasadena-based practice NeuroSport Physical Therapy, and provides consulting services at Rancho Los Amigo National Rehabilitation Center and Cozby Physical Therapy and Consulting.
In addition to his professorial and consulting work, Dr. Cozby has taught, published and presented research on a range of subjects, including diagnosis of lower extremity pain, physical therapy for the running and jumping athlete, and evidence-based approaches to patient management. He serves as an orthopaedic clinical specialist for the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and provides screenings at local California schools.
