Eileen Johnson

Assistant Professor of Clinical Physical Therapy

Eileen V. Johnson is a physical therapist at USC Physical Therapy, the division’s faculty practice on the Health Sciences Campus. A board-certified women’s health clinical specialist, she specializes in treating those with pelvic floor dysfunction. She enjoys helping patients during pregnancy and postpartum for orthopedic/lumbopelvic conditions, as well as patients with oncology-related pelvic floor dysfunction and pelvic pain. Prior to specializing in pelvic health, Dr. Johnson worked in the pediatric, neurological and orthopedic settings. She is a member of the women’s health section of the American Physical Therapy Association and a member of the International Pelvic Pain Society.

Dr. Johnson is involved with many interdisciplinary collaborations within the USC Institute of Urology and helped develop the Pelvic Floor Pre-Operative Class for patients undergoing prostate and bladder cancer surgeries. She is also actively involved in researching topics in pelvic health and assisting in teaching the pelvic health content in the physical therapy academic curriculum.
