Ali Elder

Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Physical Therapy

Dr. Ali Elder’s professional interests include neurological rehabilitation, motor learning, and the neuro-biomechanical interactions of the brain and body.

She is a board certified neurological clinical specialist, with a primary focus on the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease and dystonia. She currently teaches physical therapy management of individuals with neurologic disorders at USC and functions as the primary mentor in the Schmidt Movement Disorder Fellowship at Re+active Physical Therapy.

Dr. Elder is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy, and the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society.
