Professional Interests
Dr. Katherine Forline instructs in both Basics of Patient Management and Clinical Electrophysiology. As a physical therapist, she treats patients across the lifespan in an orthopedic and sports clinic in Long Beach, California. Dr. Forline is certified in Personalized Blood Flow Restriction training and as a Stick Mobility Movement Specialist.
Dr. Forline earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from USC in 2017. She graduated Cum Laude from Georgetown University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in physics. Prior to pursuing her doctorate, she taught physical education at a grade school for children with Autism.
As a Physical Therapy student at USC, Dr. Forline assisted in creating a movement retraining clinic for the Extremity Trauma and Amputation Center for Excellence at the US Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. Additionally, she collaborated with fellow health care professionals to conduct exercise physiology research for the Rehabilitation Medicine Department at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
